Additions and alterations to this family home achieve feelings of comfort and togetherness, responding to the client’s aspirations for a space that was more fluid, open and spacious. A rethinking of living, dining and entertainment areas create a terraced flow outwards towards the garden. The kitchen has been repositioned and opened up to create a sense of connectedness for a family that loves food, festivity and being together.

Outside and inside areas are more integrated as views of the garden are captured and an unimpeded flow onto verandas created. Tactile, natural finishes and large, understated windows add to the tone of elegance and simplicity.
