Concept Design for Healthcare Facility

This is an initial concept design for a healthcare building offering world-class medical facilities within a low socio-economic South African context. Working with community values and structures played a crucial role in the design, for example, harnessing existing pedestrian paths across the site to define circulation and accessibility routes. Principles of biophilic design informed design choices, including green courtyards and an emphasis on views to the natural landscape.
